Dear Friends,
We are the Norberine Community of Archmere Academy, a school founded by the Norbertine Fathers in Claymont, Delaware, U.S.A. In solidarity with all of the Norbertine communities in Eastern Europe, we reach out to you at this difficult time of war in Ukraine to ask how we can help.
At our Ash Wednesday Mass celebrated by Father Joseph McLaughlin, O.Praem., our school chaplain and headmaster emeritus, we prayed for peace and healing with the hope that war and bloodshed may end soon. The sunflower and blue and yellow colors reminded us of the strength, resilience, and beauty of the Ukrainian people. In addition to our prayers, we ask you to tell us what needs you may have now and in the future, so that we might be able to assist. If you are welcoming refugees from Ukraine, experiencing the effects of the war on your own ministry, or whatever the need, please share that with us.
Through the intercession of Saint Norbert, minister of peace and concord, may God continue to bless our work and protect those most vulnerable from harm. We continue to pray, and we await your reply.
In Faith, |
